Some people make walls. Others climb them.
We started working on a proactive social brief for The North Face few weeks after the presidential election. The North Face believes in freedom and togetherness. They champion the unknown and exist for people to successfully overcome the challenges in their lives. So when the world seems to be the most divided it's been since our grandparents where young we decided to put a message of inclusivity and strength into the world. To The North Face, walls are like a community. It's where people come to help each other overcome problems. It requires trust and partnership. So let's come together and climb some walls.
We launched by creating climb-able billboards in NYC and London. Then we invited North Face sponsored athletes from all over the world to climb them.
As part of the campaign, The North Face donated $1 million to The Trust for Public Land to help build public climbing walls in the U.S.
